These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through Twenty Four Doors. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms below.
1. About Us
Twenty Four Doors is an Australian business selling reusable wooden Advent calendars.
Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Twenty Four Doors.
2. Products
We make every effort to display and describe our products accurately. As our calendars are made from natural timber, variations in wood grain, colour, texture and finish may occur. These natural variations are not considered faults.
Product dimensions are approximate and minor variations may occur as a result of the manufacturing process.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and your device or screen settings.
3. Orders & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payment is required at checkout. An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you have received an order confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where a product is unavailable, an incorrect price or product information has been displayed, or we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.
4. Pre-orders
Products identified as pre-order items are not available for immediate dispatch.
Payment is taken in full at checkout to secure your order.
Any estimated production, arrival or dispatch dates provided on our website are estimates only. Manufacturing, freight, customs and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect these timeframes.
If there is a significant change to the expected dispatch timeframe, we will contact affected customers using the contact details provided with their order.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping availability and charges will be displayed at checkout based on your delivery location.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information where available.
Please ensure the delivery information supplied when placing your order is accurate. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible.
Delivery estimates are provided as a guide and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. Returns & Change of Mind
We are not required to provide a refund or exchange where you simply change your mind.
If we choose to offer a change-of-mind return in a particular circumstance, any applicable conditions will be communicated to you.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Faulty or Damaged Products
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your calendar arrives damaged, faulty or with missing components. Providing your order number and photographs of the issue will help us assess the problem.
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund and/or compensation where those guarantees are not met.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Product Use & Care
Customers are responsible for following any assembly, use and care instructions supplied with the product.
Our wooden calendars should be kept away from excessive moisture, heat and other conditions that may damage timber products.
Twenty Four Doors is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, inappropriate storage or failure to follow supplied care instructions, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Website Information
We aim to keep information on our website accurate and current. Occasionally, information may contain errors or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, availability or other details.
Where permitted by law, we may correct errors and update information on the website.
10. Intellectual Property
All content created for the Twenty Four Doors website, including our branding, photographs, graphics, written content and product imagery, is owned by or licensed to Twenty Four Doors and may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission.
11. Promotions & Discount Codes
Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions stated at the time of the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be combined and cannot be applied retrospectively to orders already placed.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
Payment transactions may also be processed by third-party payment providers and are subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law where it would be unlawful to do so.
Consumer guarantees apply automatically to eligible purchases and cannot be removed by a retailer’s terms and conditions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law, disputes relating to these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Victoria.
